What is Medi-Cal?

Medi-Cal is a public health insurance program which provides health care services to low-income individuals including families with children, seniors (65 or older), individuals with disabilities, children in foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.

Medi-Cal Health Benefits are provided to eligible individuals and families and the cost to you depends on your income. Immediate need services are available in emergency situations for eligible individuals.
