Transitional Housing

What is Transitional Housing?

Transitional Housing Placement Program (THPP) is a supportive housing program serving former foster and probation youth between the ages of 18-24. Youth obtain independent housing in the community and receive support from THP Plus Coordinators as they work on independent living goals. By offering services in a real life environment, the program promotes the self-confidence and financial stability necessary for youth to succeed in independent living.

SERVICES

  • financial assistance with rent, utilities, and food,
  • educational expenses so that youth can save money for when they leave the program,
  • emotional support and life skills coaching,
  • assistance with accessing other community resources

Transitional Housing Plus services are provided in collaboration with the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center. For more information, call (831) 459-0444.
